Beautiful and ornate armchair, with carved detail on back rest.

Intricately designed rattan work on back rest and seat pad.

For its age this chair is in remarkably good condition.

There are a few places where the rattan work has split at the front of the seat pad (please see photos) but this does not appear to affect the sturdiness of the seat or spoil its overall appearance.

Would make a lovely hallway, sitting room or bedroom chair.
